LIKHA NILA

Likha Nila (or in English translation ‘Their Art’) is an digital media project where we showcase young aspiring artists and their arts in the Philippines. This project was partnered with MarLiCa’s Art Gym, an art studio that teaches students arts and crafts like painting, pottery, or mosaic art. Likha Nila hopes this could be a platform where people can be inspired in doing art and enhance their creativity with their art stories.

01 THE PROBLEM

Likha Nila is a digital media project that aims to showcase and feature the artworks of young, budding local artists from the Philippines, as well as promoting the arts and crafts and art education within the country.

“There is no place, gives access to materials, instructions, and nurturing environment for young artists”

- Dra. Marichu (Owner of MarLiCa's Art Gym)

02 THE SOLUTION

We named the project ‘Likha Nila’  where we could promote their art and the artists themselves. We created a space where we can support aspiring creatives to match the vibrant and inspiring lifestyle of artists.

For the branding direction, I wanted it to have fun and friendly with blasting colors of passion. The Logo is taken from the form of an art palette that is paired with modern typeface. The chosen colors is a reminder of using cool, warm, light and dark colors.
